Our services

From composite fillings to dental implants.

  • Dental Implant

Implants provide a strong foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth, made to match your natural teeth. The treatment takes a few steps; the bone surrounding the anchor needs about six months to heal.

  • Implant Dentures

Loose-fitting dentures can make it difficult to eat and cause painful sore spots on the gums. An implant denture is removable, but it attaches to implants, which holds it in place.

  • Dentures

Dentures are removable appliances that replace missing teeth and help restore your smile.

  • Porcelain Veneers

Thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored material, designed to cover the front surface of a tooth and improve its appearance.

  • Extraction

An extraction is performed when a tooth cannot be saved because of infection; routine extractions are also done when a tooth is loose. Wisdom teeth, at the back of the mouth, often become impacted and may need to be extracted.

  • Composite Fillings

A filling restores a tooth damaged by decay to its normal function and shape. Composite fillings also help prevent further decay by closing the areas where bacteria can enter the tooth.

  • Invisalign

An alternative to braces: a series of clear, removable aligners, without wires or brackets, that straighten teeth. Treatment involves visiting the orthodontist every six weeks for about 9–15 months.

  • Teeth Whitening

Two options: in the office, or a take-home kit. The in-office procedure takes about an hour, uses a higher whitening concentration and works faster. The take-home kit uses customized trays filled with whitening gel, worn for an hour a day, with results in as little as one week.

  • Gum Disease Treatment

Inflammation, bleeding and tenderness along the gum line are the first stage of gum disease, also known as gingivitis. The treatment is scaling and root planing, a deep-cleaning procedure that stops moderate periodontal disease.

  • Root Canal Therapy

A tooth's pulp contains blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue. The most common causes of pulp damage are a cracked tooth, a deep cavity, or an injury such as a severe knock to the tooth, recent or past. The inflamed or infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected.

  • Crown & Bridges

A crown entirely covers a damaged tooth and can improve its appearance, shape and alignment; it is made to look as natural as an actual tooth. Unlike dentures, which you remove and clean daily, crowns and bridges are cemented onto existing teeth or implants. A bridge may be recommended if you are missing one or more teeth: it is cemented to the natural teeth or implants surrounding the missing space.

General dentist

Dr. Castillo received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and also holds a dental degree from Fundación Universitaria San Martín in Colombia. She has been in the dental field for more than 15 years, and as a general dentist provides comprehensive dental care based on each patient's needs.
